The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam has created an online admission portal called SAMARTH. This portal will simplify the admission process for undergraduate courses by allowing students to apply to multiple colleges through a single application. Students can select up to 10 institutes and can only secure admission in one. Additionally, the portal will facilitate the implementation of welfare schemes by institutions and the government.

4/ Mahbdeb University:

• Contributes to the SAMARTH Portal’s collaborative efforts in academia and research.

5/ Assam Science and Technology University:

• Plays a crucial role in advancing science and technology in Assam.

6/ Rabindranath Tagore University:

• Situated in Shantiniketan, West Bengal.

The SAMARTH Portal helped students from different parts of Assam with their UG admissions. The universities mentioned above actively participated in this initiative. They collaborated to ensure a smooth and fair admission process for eligible candidates who wished to pursue undergraduate education at their respective institutions.
